Turn off and tune out. Finding a relaxing evening activity that everyone can join in at night prior to snooze time. Activities that stimulate the senses, like video games and TV should be shut down a few hours before bed. White noise machines are available on the market that can supply a consistent soothing background noise.
And we often have to come back to it. Why should we otherwise be swayed to believe about ourselves some divergent sense of falsehood; this often knocking the creative breath out of us as if we were winded, stammering for inspiration whilst clamouring on canvas.
While you are waiting for the person of your dreams, work on improving yourself. Think of something that you have always wanted to do and devote yourself to it. If there is a non-romantic activity that you have wanted to achieve and just do it. If there is anything that you want to improve about your life, now is the time to take action.
If three or more symptoms that are mentioned above occur to you, you might be in the ‘up phase’ of depression and crazy (manic depression). In this case, you should consult your doctor immediately.
Exercise, exercise. The more the better. When you exercise, your brain releases chemicals (endorphins) and that makes you feel good. Watch your diet, eat good, healthy foods. Get plenty of sleep. If you have trouble sleeping, talk to your doctor. He might recommend something to help you sleep.
One of the main things to remember is that depression isn’t just another mental condition mixed in with a whole plethora of other mental illnesses which affect people to a greater of lesser extent.
Use positive visualization as part of your every day life. Picture yourself achieving the goals you want. Picture your life as being better than it is today. Doing this regularly sets your mind on a course for positive results. Positive visualization is scientifically proven to work for most individuals.
